Online registration for the 2020-2021 program year (up to Grade 6) can be found here. Please complete a separate form for each child being enrolled. Thanks!
Unfortunately, due to current public health indicators in DC and the surrounding area (our folks come from all over!) and air ventilation issues that still need to be resolved, we will be holding Godly Play sessions online for children PreK to 6th Grade starting the week of September 20, 2020. As soon as we can safely move to an in-person format, we will. More details to come in the next couple of weeks.
What is Godly Play?
In Godly Play, Bible stories are told with objects and children are encouraged to enter into the stories and relate them to their personal experience. It is a method of Christian formation and spiritual guidance used primarily, but not exclusively with children. The goal is to teach the art of using religious language - parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - to help us all become more aware of the mystery of God's presence in our lives. Sessions typically include art, prayer, feast (snack) and gathering time.
