Growing in Grace: Spirituality of Aging
Saturday, March 30, 2019, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
This deep dive into the spirituality of aging will inspire and offer insights into topics of universal interest. There will be time for exploration, creativity and play.
Our keynote speakers, the Very Rev. Tracey Lind, former Dean of the Episcopal Cathedral of Cleveland, and her spouse, Emily Ingalls, will talk about their life together as they face the challenges of Tracey’s temporofrontal lobe dementia.
Over lunch, we’ll be entertained by the great Mark Russell and a stand-up comedian from our parish.
In the afternoon, participants will choose one of three workshops:
*Spirituality at the End of Life (led by Rev. Maude Harrison-Hudson)
*Embracing People Who Have Dementia (led by Dr. Dorothy Linthicum)
*Creativity, Play, and Aging (led by Kate Amoss and Liz Lescault)
There is no cost for the program but we request that you register so we can have enough food for lunch. Click here to register.
