The Opportunity Shop has been getting a refresh this summer!
While the Shop has been closed, volunteers have been busy behind the scenes refurbishing two of the back processing rooms. The improvements have created more functional and productive workspaces for the volunteers who sort, organize, and prepare the many items that eventually make their way onto the Shop floor.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time and talents to the project, including Frank Boyd; Elizabeth Dietel, Jon Miller, Alexandra Mitoi, and Smruti Patel.
The Opportunity Shop will reopen for business on Wednesday, September 9, and we look forward to welcoming shoppers back!
Please note: The Opportunity Shop is not accepting donations at this time. Donation drop-offs will resume after the Shop reopens next week. We appreciate your patience—and your generosity—as our volunteers prepare for another great season at the Opportunity Shop.
