A Ministry Built on Welcome:
Meet the Hospitality Committee
For 170 years, this team has been the warm heart behind Saint Albans’ gatherings. Committee chair Eve Zartman-Ball shares what drives their work — and how you can be part of it.
The Hospitality Committee has existed in many forms throughout the long history of this church — always adapting, always serving. Today, under the leadership of Eve Zartman-Ball, the committee has been renewed with a clear and focused mission: to ensure that every gathering, internal or external, truly serves the people of this parish and the wider community.
It is a ministry that runs on generosity — of time, talent, and heart. And right now, they need yours.
“We welcome your hands and your heart — and your time and your talent.” — Eve Zartman-Ball, Committee Chair.
Whether you’re drawn to planning, cooking, setting up, or simply showing up — there is a place for you in this ministry. And if writing a check is more your speed, your financial support helps make these moments of community possible for everyone.
Watch Eve’s 2-minute video above to hear the full story of this ministry, what they’re building, and exactly how you can get involved.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire Hospitality Committee for a wonderful Spring Picnic on Sunday, May 31. Your dedication, warmth, and tireless effort brought our parish together in the most joyful way — and it showed in every smile, every shared meal, and every moment of community we experienced that day. We are so grateful for you.
