Forum: Confronting Racism--The Episcopal Church and Race
Sunday, February 03, 2019, 10:15 AM - 11:05 AM
How much do you know about the history of the Episcopal church and its role in perpetuating or working to eradicate racism? From the early 1600’s when the first slaves came to this country to 2015 when Michael Curry was elected the first African American Presiding Bishop, our denomination has played an important role in the story of race in America. St. Alban's parishioners Sally Craig and Deborah Potter will lead this interactive session as we kick off our February forums on confronting racism.
